I've been battling with a heavy fps drop, which starts to happen after ~30min of play, for longer than a year. I suspected it was caused by Havok heap since I use a good amount of HDT body&equipments and all. Couple of days of ago, out of desperation, I disabled Sheson's SKSE patch & meh's malloc patch, and let enb take over memory management completely by setting
[THREADS]
DataSyncMode=2
PriorityMode=3
EnableUnsafeFixes=true
[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
like above. And this setting effectively stopped my year-long problem. (with no ctd even after 3 hrs of gameplay) What is this magic, Boris?

Re: What is this magic, Boris?
I didn't test long term fps drops, so no idea what is wrong.

Re: What is this magic, Boris?
There is nothing wrong, in fact, I am just saying what is happening is too good to be true. I thought SKSE memory patch(or meh's malloc patch) was essential to a game with more than 400 mods to prevent ctd and memory fragmentation, and above setting simply overturned my original belief. Am I the only one experiencing this?ENBSeries wrote:I didn't test long term fps drops, so no idea what is wrong.

SKSE/Sheson patches can't fix ctd caused by out of memory problem (we do very different fixes, both need to be activated for better stability). But why fps changed, i have no idea.
