Re: TES Skyrim 0.109 BETA

Testing the .dll with speedhack (and implemented the [GAME] speedhack=true etc into enbseries.ini).
Performance did indeed go up, but having same issue as above, some shadows are acting very weird.

Examples:
Using old 0.109 injector: http://i.imgur.com/WgY5H.jpg
Using new one with speedhack: http://i.imgur.com/TcBXA.jpg
(I use AOAmount 0.35)

Can see there is quite a huge difference in the shadowing.

Here's an example of the issues with shadows: http://i.imgur.com/BTiNo.jpg

Oyama
Sorry, i have display and don't need any more of them (if you mean for multimonitor setup, i don't want to develop, told about that as theoretical example).

nordikwolf
Post savegame on mediafire.com and describe when and how bug happen. I walked in many areas and can't find anything myself.
and I turned it off and again nothing different happened. The problem goes on
I don't understand what you mean. Speedhack enabled do this?

Vond
Also, savegame needed.

Btw, performance difference with ssao disabled and speedhack enabled vs vanilla game also interesting me.

Can you please tell me what SSAO Compatibility Bits you are using in NVInspector?

Like the "0x00000029 (Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)" one.

Thanks

/Edit

Nevermind, my SSAO problem was caused by forced Driver AA like Boris said.

And, HOLY MOTHER MARIAS MAMMARIES i can run SSAO and IL with a 460 GTX in Riverwood ~28 FPS.
I <3 you Boris.

Location: "coc Riverwood" (type in console, dont move camera, first person view, leave console enabled, FOV 75)
Driver is set to Nvidia Defaults except 2xQuincunx AA @ Enhance App Settings, 2x Transparency Supersampling, Nvidia FXAA on
8x AF set in ENB
[SSAO_SSIL]
UseIndirectLighting=true
SamplingQuality=1.0
SamplingRange=0.75
FadeFogRangeDay=7.0
FadeFogRangeNight=7.0
SizeScale=0.5
SourceTexturesScale=0.5
FilterQuality=1.0
AOAmount=1.0
ILAmount=1.5
###################
ENB w. Speed Hack: 28 FPS
ENB wo. Speed Hack: 26 FPS
Vanilla Skyrim: 46 FPS

So ENB needs ~40% FPS on my Rig.
Difference from speed hack is negilible, fluctuates around +-3 FPS anyways

Yeah Boris. I can't post my savegame yet on mediafire, because I still need to Sign Up there and don't have the time right now. But the shadow bug is do happening again, this fuckin nightmare :cry: . I'm using your Enb's .dll and injector mixed with this user's enb files: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15105. The problem wasn't happening before, with the late version of 0.109, but now, with this new one, it is. The problem just started to happen as soon as I installed your new enbseries, not in a specific situation as you asked.

"and I turned it off and again nothing different happened. The problem goes on

No, I mean that using or not the speed hack, the problem still happens. The problem probably isn't in the speed hack.

I'm using the Nvidia's 301.24 beta driver, btw.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.109 BETA

Alright this version is Incredible. I can play with IL, SSAO, and everything else extremely smoothly on my 460 GTX. Really incredible.

But...man...Skyrim is such a buggy game... =/

Here's my buglist:

http://imgur.com/a/l3FFT#0

If I found a solution to a bug, I noted it on the photos. There's a lot of duplicates, just in different areas, in case it might be helpful.

But the bugs are:

SSAO See Through Bug (returns from previous versions).
Blood on Weapon Bug.
Alt Tab Alpha Texture Bug
Shadow Bug when Taking Screenshots with Steam Overlay (F11).

Your mod is incredible though Boris....the performance is so good! I dont have an FPS count right now though. I'll test it for actual FPS now.

Edit: I lose about...5 - 6 FPS when toggling the mod on or off.

21 FPS Minimum - 35 Max Average. - 27 AVG.

Image
v0.102:
1. All grasses have shadows.

Image
v0.109 old (WrapperVersion):
1. Some grasses have shadows.
2. There is grey circle area of shadow in front of my character.

Image
v0.109 New (today version)(WrapperVersion)(no speedhack):
1. Some grasses have shadows.
2. There is grey circle shadow in front of my character.
3. Some types of grasses totally have black shadows.
4. All grasses must become "cube" when I return to the game after alt-tabing to desktop once.

My friends and I have same problem.
We use 2600k + GTX 570 / 580 with 296.10 driver.

I love you, boris!!!
I hope it can help you to improve enb fast :D Take care !!!

Re: TES Skyrim 0.109 BETA

@happyken

That 'dark halo' around your character is just an artifact from the SSAO in 0.109. It uses a different SSAO algorithm than 0.102 which looks much better, in my opinion. You'll see the 'issue' is gone if you disable SSAO. I've had to adjust my SSAO values in ENBseries.ini for the new 0.109 release to rebalance the effect; try increasing the SSIL amount and tightening up the SSAO.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.109 BETA

Using the latest .109 Beta I've encountered three significant bugs.

When speedhack=true using either injector or wrapper, alt-tabbing will deform grass and cause textures errors (e.g., pavement in Riften).

SSAO bug occurs using either injector or wrapper and is unaffected by speedhack. I've exaggerated the SSAO power to demonstrate the problem here.

First Image: Screenshot without console commands enabled.
Second Image: Screenshot without console commands enabled, but turning the camera just slightly.
Third Image: Screenshot with console enabled. Any command that freezes time will cause all areas affected by SSAO to go black.

Foggy weather tends to exaggerate the problem as affected objects will flicker constantly. I did not have this problem with the last .109 beta release (injector only version), so hopefully the bug should be easy to find.

Lastly, using either injector or wrapper, when I enter first person, my character becomes nearly transparent. Not sure what causes this.

On the plus side, the performance increase using the speedhack is very good. I gained about 5-10 frames in certain areas around Riverwood and Whiterun.
