Re: TESIV: Oblivion

Very nice. I did not know that Oblivion could look so pretty.

Re: TESIV: Oblivion

:shock: WOW! I've been trying to learn how to customize ENBs and I've been fiddling with Oblivion for weeks but I've never been able to get anything that looked nearly that good. I'm still learning what all of the parameters do. Is there any way you could share your settings so I can compare them with mine and learn from it? It would be much appreciated.

Re: TESIV: Oblivion

Tried your config out and it KILLED performance even after disabling Depth of Field. Guessing it's an SSAO quality setting. Haven't had a chance to mess with it much (too busy trying out the new Opethfeldt7 ENB beta for Skyrim). Your interior lighting looked perfect. Great shadow detail. Unfortunately my exterior lightning doesn't look anything like your screenshots but it looked way better than what I was able to achieve on my own. Are you using any other graphic mods besides ENB? Maybe that would explain the difference?

One thing I noticed about Oblivion while tweaking it myself is the lighting can look perfect one minute but as soon as the time of day changes (even slightly) it looks terrible. Interiors are much more consistent because the lighting doesn't change. Perhaps it's because of the limitations of that engine and the limited options of that specific ENB. I may just wait until they finish Skyblivion before revisiting that game.

Re: TESIV: Oblivion

Hi Rubber-De-Flubber
I really like your ENB to Fallout 3 and are happy that you have exported it to Oblivion :) I do hope to see your excellent work with ENB 1.81 to Oblivon.

Ive changed some settings so that it will not kill the users fps if SSAO is in use. I cant see the different while playing. The setting is:

[SSAO_SSIL]
UseIndirectLighting=true
SamplingQuality=-1
SamplingRange=0.3
FadeFogRangeDay=2.0
FadeFogRangeNight=2.0
SizeScale=0.5
SourceTexturesScale=0.5
FilterQuality=1
AOAmount=3.0
AOAmountInterior=3.0
ILAmount=4.0
ILAmountInterior=5.0
AOIntensity=2.0
AOIntensityInterior=2.0
AOType=1
AOMixingType=5
AOMixingTypeInterior=5
