General question about .fxh helper files....
Why do you use them and when is using them appropriate vs not having them? Is it just for shaders that are really big, so that you don't put to much into a single file? Im in the very beginnings of trying to learn this stuff, and so I thought I would just ask. Thanks.

Re: General question about .fxh helper files....
It's mainly just a way of keeping things tidy. If the files are constructed well, it also makes them easy to drop into other shaders and presets.
Note that the file extension is irrelevant, and so is the file size. It's just another way of making things more human readable.

Thats what I was thinking, but then I started wondering why change the extension from .fx to .fxh. Thanks.
