Hey Guys,

My depth of field looks rather like gaussian blur compared to these screenshots.

The DOF is there, just not the bokeh. Is there an aperture bitmap I'm missing?

Something about DoF in general is making the reflections in water disappear below the middle of my screen. Is there a fix for that?

Thank you for the work on this beautiful depth of field variations; could I also kindly enquire if there is a way in New Vegas to change the position of the crosshair on my screen? I would like to place objects on the side of the screen rather than the center so that I have more creativity in framing the screenshots.

where do you edit those things, ingame (shift+enter)? The floats. Is it only inside enbeffectprepass.fx?

Can someone share nice settings that I can just copy&paste?

I would love to maximize the fuzzy rainbow // rgb effect, the elements of red green blue in a hazy light reflection that occurs in a blurred fashion at a distance.

Like torches become a fuzzy cloud of RGB the farther you go.

Btw is this compatible with CoT stuff, ELFX, URWL?

Is compatible to all mods like Climates of Tamriel etc etc.
The "RGB Effect" is chromatic abberation, you find the value inside the enbeffectprepass.fx, last one of the editable values, 0.25 by default. Raise it if you want more.

Hello there. Not sure if this thread is active anymore, but I was looking for some help:

Downloaded the "enbeffectprepass" from the skyrim nexus and replaced the file inside the main file, but when I start the game it looks no different. Am I doing something wrong?

NOTE: using ENB v.265

Thanks.

Code: Select all

replaced the file inside the main file
Does this mean that you overwrote your the existing enbeffectprepass.fx in your game dir or the same file in the enbseries subdirectory of your game folder? If not then try that. Otherwise, I suggest trying another version of enbeffectprepass like kingeric1992's file here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3224. That one has gui annotations so you will be able to tell if it's working just by opening it's section in ENB's shaders window. If that one works, then maybe it's something specific about the gp65cj04 file.
