ENB for Beyond Good & Evil

ENB for Beyond Good & Evil

Updated Friday August 2, 2013

Added proper DoF .txt
Removed ambient occlusion
Adjusted motion blur
Adjusted bloom

I've been wanting to update this one for a while.
I got some slowdown when I was in certain water areas, but I think that is just due to my lack of video power. If you get slowdown let me know. but I really don't expect it to be a problem for people with more than 512MB VR.

You can obviously switch out or remove the color palette .bmp if you want.

Re: ENB for Beyond Good & Evil

Hey there ... gonna try this out ;)

One thing I noticed is you have all your 'Quality' settings at '3'. I think the only valid settings are 0, 1 and 2, with 0 being highest quality and 2 being lowest...

To be brutally honest.....I was going off some other persons setting from way back, and just continued to do it. I haven't gotten any constructive criticism till just recently, and I tend to learn things through experimentation , rather than actually asking someone. Which in retrospect is pretty dumb of me.

So, Just recently, I decided that all my sets are going to get redone....even the ones i just redid and posted not too long ago. I am also going to try out "Lighter" more conservative palettes. Thats the plan anyway, I'm moving to Denver in less than 20 days to start Game design and animation classes so I can learn more about shaders, as well as a bunch of of things obviously involved in game creation. However classes take time, so I will have to sort figure out my schedule for it ( if I do not somehow turn it into a class project, that is)

And also, I Do have an older card.....and I'm finding now that having quality all the way up is making me take a bit of a hit, although my laptop has crappy cooling, and that could actually be causing it. Anyway, as I get better hardware, all these ENB sets will evolve, so hopefully My honesty just now did not just damn me, and people come back for better versions as time rolls on.

Re: ENB for Beyond Good & Evil

I liked your ENB but I can't use it cause of the artifacts\flickering that are shown in the game. I want to know how to disable hardware vertex processing in your ENB. As you know that software vertex processing is slow but you know, These artifacts/flickering are damn annoying so better playing the game with slow software processor than watching the annoying artifacts stuff. I'm really eager to play the game using your ENB, Please reply soon.

Re: ENB for Beyond Good & Evil

Disable Ambient Occlusion in the ENBseries.ini if it is enabled.
