Skyrim LE 2011

Recently I have been experimenting with DynDOLOD 3D LODs. First I tried 4K 3D LODs...then 2K. In both cases...I play, save, everything is running fine until I attempt to install a new mod. I then get infinite loading screens and Crash Fixes gives me a running out of memory error. All my other ini's and settings have been working for me for years...but that was for 2D LODs and I am new to 3D LODs. VRamSizeDX9.exe says that I have 15968MB available...ENB says same on auto detect.

While everything is still working fine...I sometimes get a bit of stuttering when running. I thought about trying to lower ReservedMemorySizeMb=

Could I really be running out of memory?! : )

Try to tweak [THREADS] category, i don't remember which combo is the best tested by users, somewhere in ENBoost page on Nexus web site i suppose written. Reduce ReservedMemorySizeMb to 64. Try DisableDriverMemoryManager=true. Set VideoMemorySizeMb=12000 and AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false

Thank you. I am going to try all of those things.

This was my latest Crash Fixes log:

12 Jan 02:09:32 Skyrim has failed to allocate memory! Possibly running out of memory. Size / alignment of object being allocated was 22369796 / 16. Some things you can try:

1. Make sure ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true is set in enblocal.ini - if you don't have ENB then install ENBoost and enable this option.

2. Try set AlignHeapAllocate=0 in CrashFixPlugin.ini - if you get additional crashes then put back to 1.

3. If it's during ShowRaceMenu then close the menu from time to time to free memory.

4. Enable CustomMemoryBlock in CrashFixPlugin.ini to reduce memory fragmentation.

5. If it's during ShowRaceMenu then disable UseOSAllocators=1 and re-enable after character creation is completed.

The problem was in my ini files.

Edits to avoid z-fighting and tree pop-in with 2D LOD's were the cause.

Everything else I tried was immediate CTD upon launch.

So I recreated my vanilla ini's and will only make edits for ENB and Verdant.
