d3d9.dll - CTD

Hey!

Long story short: when using d3d9.dll, my skyrim game CTD's.

My specs:
Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz 41 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz (10-10-10-27)
Motherboard
MSI Z77A-GD65 GAMING (MS-7751) (SOCKET 0) 28 °C
Graphics
DELL U2414H (1920x1080@60Hz)
3072MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series (XFX Pine Group) 41 °C
Storage
238GB TS256GSSD320 ATA Device (SSD) 33 °C
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EALX-229BA1 ATA Device (SATA) 37 °C
3GB USB DISK 2.0 USB Device (USB)
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS90 ATA Device
DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

I am not using anything like MSI Afterburner or shit like that. I do have Logitech Gaming Software, but closing this yeilds no solution.
I also have the latest DX, AMD Drivers and Microsoft framework stuff.
I do have the Steam overlay running though.

It does not CTD when using Admin mode on the game, either through the SKSE launcher or the regular one. Though when using Admin mode, it disables the ENBSeries stuff I noticed.
Also, when removing d3d9.dll, it works the same way.

Please, help me!

Delete Skyrim's configs and run the game with mod. It it works, OK. If not, blame your OS having something interrupting loading the mod.

Re: d3d9.dll - CTD

Okay, so:
I have tried deleting the Skyrim Configs: did not work.
Also tried disabling the AA and AF in the Skyrim settings: did not work.
Disabling the steam overlay: did not work:

I installed the game in C:/Games, and I am the admin account on my system.
Also, I am using Microsoft Security Essentials as far as AV goes, but it does not give me any warnings or something along those lines.

Just a shot in the dark. You said latest DX drivers ... Do you have the older ones as well? They are required to run ENB.

Re: d3d9.dll - CTD

It's definitely worth the shot.
Though when installing an older version it does not go through, saying that I have a newer version installed and that is isn't necessary, giving me no other options than quitting the installation process.
Any pro tips?

Google wil turn up directions. Something in this thread may help. But read the whole thread first as the first few parts have a lot of misinformation ... Near the end is what you need. Could be missing some libraries. You want the Dx9 I believe.

I never had this issue on win7 only win8 so not sure if this is your problem.

Re: d3d9.dll - CTD

Missing dx9 files do not produce crashes, message box appear instead. But may be some exotic builds of them (OS specific) may cause the crash. Still, the best you can do is to disable antivirus and UAC at all, at least while playing (better to remove them at all and use virtual machine for i-net).
