enb 0.434+ increased lighting in interiors

hi, i use the tetrachromatic enb for skyrim le, and usually i update the enb for new versions, even though the preset was made in 2017. i thought this would be okay, and updated to 0.434.

what i noticed is that interiors lighting now are increased, more bright, and i would like to know what change in enb effect produced this effect, so i can try to configure to preset to match the previous enb version graphics, using this new version.

thanks

Brightness didn't change anywhere. Hard to tell what is different, because people usually come to report things after some updates are done. I usually keep versions which have radical changes to visuals, so i don't know which was older one you have used to compare it. And another thing, are you sure old dll really restore visuals?

thanks for reply , i used the version 0.292. switched to 0.434, suddenly iside markarth inn lighting is greatly increased, everything is better illuminated. more bright. i just want to understand what effect does that, so i can tweak to restore original preset looks, whiile retaining the updated enb

Re: enb 0.434+ increased lighting in interiors

There are dusk and dawn times added so if old preset don't have them, these times of the day will have their default values, which ugly. I dont see any parameters which by default active to do so. Just in case, check if particle lighting is disabled in [EFFECTS] category. And anyway, worth to turn off effects one by one till find what is the reason. If this not helps, i will give you builds in between those two to see which one introduce issue first.

yes previous dll restore. the only settings that changed the strenght of interior lighting were bloom and adaptation. i tried an exploratory attempt by comparing another enb that uses the enb weather system. it has the same effect, strenghtned interior lighting

https://dropmefiles.com/tIobr Try these files one by one starting from older versions (replace d3d9.dll only), then report since which version problem occurs, then i will give you some more.

https://dropmefiles.com/Ei6Vl How about those? And tell me your values of ColorPow* parameters under [ENVIRONMENT] of enbseries.ini, if they are bigger than 2, most likely it's because bug fixed.

Re: enb 0.434+ increased lighting in interiors

v0422 ok
v0424 mentioned issue is very strong here EDIT: the stronger effect was because game loaded a different weather than before, but the issue still applies
v0431 same as above

this is in the main enbseries..ini:
ColorPowSunrise=1.3
ColorPowSunset=1.0
ColorPowInteriorDay=1.06
ColorPowInteriorNight=1.0
ColorPowDay=1.01
ColorPowNight=1.06
ColorPowDawn=1.0
ColorPowDusk=1.0

the preset uses weather system, each ini with its own setting of these parameters

Re: enb 0.434+ increased lighting in interiors

i saw something strange in the editor weather settings, changing the colorpowday inside a interior cell (markarth inn) was in effect, i thought it was only colorpowinteriorday that was to be used
