I have spent the past 3 days trying to get enb to work on Skyrim. I haven't made much progress except that it's d3d9.dll that is causing the issue. Whenever it's in the folder, it crashes. When it's not, Skyrim launches and runs fine. What do I do???
-When I launch the ENB PreSetup it says: "FAIL: DirectX Runtime Standalone 2010 is not installed. Download it from Microsoft web site, install it and then run this tool again" I have done this. I tried multiple times and it never fixed the issue.
-I'm running on Windows 10 and I recently reset my pc so all of my files were deleted.
-If I run the PreSetup on my laptop it says that it's fine and DirectX is installed and working for it, and it works fine in game as well.
-I updated ALL of my drivers, and that has not fixed the issue.
Please halp.

I looked and I don't think I can find any program or app that could be causing it to crash or not even recognize that I have directx 9 installed.ENBSeries wrote:Search here on forum "crapware" keyword in my posts.

Remember that it says DirectX 9 is not installed in the PreSetup as well, even though I have installed it.ENBSeries wrote:Search here on forum "crapware" keyword in my posts.

Just a double-check, did you install the right version?

Yes, that is the version I installed. I tried again with the link you gave me to double check and it did not work.wolfgrimdark wrote:Just a double-check, did you install the right version?

If PreSetup even after reboot still says that dx9 not installed, it means what it says and there is no other case, because it use usual procedure to load dx9 libraries as any games do. Or you have crapware (antivirus) running.

I cannot find any antivirus or similar programs on my computer, and even after a restart it still says that dx9 is not installed.ENBSeries wrote:If PreSetup even after reboot still says that dx9 not installed, it means what it says and there is no other case, because it use usual procedure to load dx9 libraries as any games do.
