Blowing snow is too bright

Not matter which texture I download, the blowing snow is always too bright. Some snow patches on glaciers are also too bright and every ENB makes them look awful. Is there a fix anyone has found?

Re: Blowing snow is too bright

IIRC if you have the particle patch installed blowing snow should react to [PARTICLE] parameters.

For snow patches, not sure - it might be SSS or bloom. If it's due to SSS installing the SSS patch should help.

I am using Skyrim SE, is there anyway that you could make a snow fix for skyrim se? Where is the SSS patch?

You can try the SSS patch for the classic Skyrim, it's part of the particle patch (check the download section).

I'll take a look at the blowing snow in SSE, shouldn't be a problem to make it behave better.

How exactly do you make it behave better. Do you use the creation kit? Is there a tutorial I can use to make it not so bright?

Re: Blowing snow is too bright

In that case you need to edit the mesh, i.e. the nif file, and if it has the same bug as the classic Skyrim fix it's shader and alpha properties.
