Fallout 4 lighting/reflection/shadow bug--Repeat with v307

I'm having the same bug as described in this thread. I saw in the patch notes that version 307 might have fixed this, but I am using version 0.307 with just the ENBoost settings, no graphics changes, and still getting it. Uninstalling ENB stops the bug, and reinstalling ENB causes the bug again.

Last time that bug was posted you asked for the save file and a copy of the launcher video settings.

A link to the save file:

Please note that it will complain about mods missing but I have confirmed that it will load without any mods.

Video settings:

Essentially, they are a resolution of 1920x1200 and the default "Ultra" settings selected by the launcher. The only unique change is that I edited my fov to 90. I am running a GTX 970 on Windows 7 x64.

I hope this helps you fix the bug, and let me know if you need anything else. Thank you!

Almost forgot--to recreate the bug, load the save, and rotate in place without moving. The lights will flicker on and off as your angle changes.

Everything is totally fine. Same setting as yours (ultra), but windowed mode and lower resolution. And of course old drivers without any useless software running.

Re: Fallout 4 lighting/reflection/shadow bug--Repeat with v3

i'm having the exact same issue, using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650

enb version 307, latest 1.6.3 version of fallout 4

this problem ONLY happens for me when i have it set to UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true

this is my current settings http://i.imgur.com/OSHkFpA.png you already have a save at the exact spot i'm encountering it myself

i have been tweaking my settings to see if i can fix it on my end, but so far it hasn't worked

EDIT: even with full ultra settings it's still doing it, nothing short of uninstalling ENB causes it to stop

Re: Fallout 4 lighting/reflection/shadow bug--Repeat with v3

I just wanted to post a follow up:

This bug has been extensively reported on reddit and appears to be due to engine limitations on the number of lights rendered at once. Thus, it tends to strike people playing at higher resolutions at wider fields of view in areas with lots of lighting, as this naturally causes more lights to need to be rendered. This would explain why it's happening to me at 1080p at 90 degrees FOV in the Vault where every pod is giving off its own lighting source. Also was worsening when I had multiple godrays contributing to other scenes.

Fortunately, there is a reported fix that worked instantly for me. Change bComputeShaderDeferredTiledLighting=1 to 0 in the fallout4prefs.ini. This unfortunately makes the lighting feel "flatter", but at least I don't have any more flickering.

I don't know if this would help you fix this issue on ENB's side--it sounds like a Bethesda engine problem to me. But I figured I'd at least pass on the info for anyone else reading this on google in the future.
