No Godrays, sun and DOF Skyrim Project ENB

Hello, I have installed Project ENB and also edited the skyrimprefs file
bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5 (if you use "Ultra" shadows)
But when I'm in the game DOF and the sun do not appear?
When I turn of the ENB I can see the sun texture
I've tried Realvision to make sure the problem is not caused by my pc!

May be you have another copy of game config, it's generated by mod manager.

Well I deleted dxgi.dll and it worked but the background now looks so blurry.
I feel like I need that file to load the sweetfx files
I'm using windows 10...maybe it has something to do with direct x

Try iBlurDeferredShadowMask=3, it's default if i remember. Check if depth of field effect is working or not, it must have proper focusing instead on constant everywhere. Then check if sun shines through the walls - this is shows that antialiasing somewhere enabled or crapware running (Steam overlay too). If mod is started without crashes and displayed text in left corner, then all required directx files are installed.

For many users, but not all, SweetFX, Skyrim (Dx9), and windows 10 with Nvidia won't work. I have dealt with a lot of people on this issue. The majority can't get it to work - oh things load find when they delete or rename that file but the end result is SweetFX won't run. I have found 3 people so far, who are using SFX, Nvidia, and Win10, who got it working but most seem to have the issue that it disables the SFX effects. I finally had to give up using SFX with windows 10 and Skyrim.

EDIT: In fact I just dealt with someone this week who had DOF issues just like yours and they felt it was related to the SFX files they were using and a fix they found online. Basically they had gotten an error while running SFX on windows 10 (which they had recently switched to) and had ignored it - and stated it had disabled some of the ENB effect. Once she removed the error (by deleting that dxgi file) the ENB effects started to work again. But she, like me and others, also lost the ability to use SweetFX in the process. This was second hand information but thought I would share it since it seemed related to your issue.

I don't know the reasons but I manage some presets on Nexus and just have had so many reports about issues with running SweetFX, ENB, and Skyrim with Nvidia on Windows 10 that I have to believe there is a connection -just too many people reporting conflicts with that combination for it to be coincidence.

Thanks for the information!
So I guess I was wasting my time by trying to fix it...
When I used windows 7 and then upgraded to windows 10 it worked but
after I reinstalled windows 10 it stopped working... this is shit.
Whatever, I switched to Realvision cause it isn't using sweetfx

Re: No Godrays, sun and DOF Skyrim Project ENB

That is interesting as two of the three people I know who got it working also did an upgrade from 7 versus a clean install (the third person I never had a chance to talk with and just saw a post they had made). Maybe there are some files in Win7 that got carried over so it continued to work. I have researched this for a few months and tried installing many old versions of DX runtime and MS Visual C libraries and still haven't found any combination or file that solves the issue. I am not a coder or much of a graphics tech person though so I have been going on trial and error.

Thanks although that was one I found a while back and it didn't help. But glad it solved the problem for you!
