Very large FPS drops with complex grass enabled

I have a 3060 ti and ryzen 5 3600. Using ENB v0.475

Having complex grass enabled causes very large FPS drops. Most of the time the framerate is stable, however looking in some areas it will drop 15-20 fps. It happens with any grass mod and I am using the complex grass textures. Is this to be expected? I was under the impression the performance hit is not supposed to be very large.

First of all, it's incorrect to say fps hit like you do, it's huge difference if you have 30 fps and lose 20 or if you have 500 fps and lose 20. Then, this feature do not cost much performance, but i can't do anything if it do for you, no idea what it could be.

I no longer get the issue. Not sure why. I believe it might have had something to do with draw calls as I made some small changes as well as upgraded my memory and the problem is solved.
