Are you sure? I don't have anything of that sort enabled (hardware settings) and I still get that issues from time to time.

And yeah, I also get what Vimm gets from time to time as well.
Another possible cause is in the ATI control panel option to change the AA mode. Adaptive Multi-Sample seems to cause visual errors. I have mine set to Multi-Sample. Super Sample is fine as well.

Other than that, I have no idea...

Re: Fallout New Vegas 0.118

First person mode bugs are similar to Skyrim, forget it, i can't spend performance to fix them.

ATI driver setting must be properly configured, because by default one or two parameters in catalyst control center are set to very stupid for any games, not just for the mod. I have outdated config screenshots in the docs on the site, but only design of panels now differ, so not hard to set properly. Antialiasing unsupported, any kind, it's specific limitation at this moment, so seek where it's activated to fix all that issues from screenshots and description.

Re: Fallout New Vegas 0.118

@Boris :
are u planning to add some parameters or effects ? I don't know if they would be compatible with this game, but :

Speculars parameters ?
Objects parameters ?

Would it be possible to optimize (it's already good, but...) the SSAO_SSIL like you did for Skyrim, with simple and complex SSIL ?

Anyway, thanx for ALL you're doing. Keep up the extraordinary job ! :)

@Boris :
I'll speak only for myself here, but SMAA works flawlessly with it : (1080p with negative load bias on Nvidia + additional sharpening via effect.txt)
These are from FO3.
Anyway, post-process AA seems to always be the best bet, no bad surprises with it.
Sure it's not absolutely PERFECT on screenshots, but it's great ingame.

Seems like Steam is the issue at hand here. Ran Fallout 3 from Nexus Mod Manager and the issue disappeared.
Yeah, disabling Steam overlay and any other programs that add one (like Xfire) will stop that from happening in New Vegas as well.

Re: Fallout New Vegas 0.118

@Boris :
sorry that you spent some time on trying to fix the AA problems with no success... :?
Thanx for trying.
However, are you planning to add new parameters or effects to 0.118 ?
Is it possible to separate lighting parameters (direct, ambient, point, like in Skyrim), speculars, objects ?
Would it be possible also about the [FIX] parameters ? Maybe it could help for some stability issues ?...
Thank you again for reviving this game. ;) and for all you're doing.

Re: Fallout New Vegas 0.118

Don't know what to do with the game, all the lights are the same in it and drawing is done in multipass, when textures and lights computed at separate draw calls and blended. I need to calm down and forget everything that did before, to think again what can i do. Working with the mod and with main project, both games have stupid unfixable issues, i'm tired.
