Re: Fallout 4 0.428

i ment 3.1.1, i was in error..

But now after a few days working fine, got my 60fps smooth gameplay back, the game starts hanging in a black screen on startup.
it worked fine for a few days, and before for more then a year (didn't update the game, still on 1.9.4), but now it starts giving me a blackscreen and i have to log off in windows to get out of the hang.

The new ENB gives me wildly fluctuating FPS in the 50 range, and the game is unplayably stuttering with the new ENB, even with all the effects turned off.
So something in there is destroying performance. it might be because it's ment to be used with the latest version of Fallout 4, i don't know.

Weirdest thing is, if i remove enb 311 and then start the game, then stop the game and put enb back, then it works.
If i then restart the PC, i get a black screen again, then i have first start the game without ENB before it starts working again.
Very strange stuff..

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

Ha, so now a few days later my game started to Blackscreen without ENB, so this time i knew it's not ENB causing this problem.
So i dug around in the ini files and it seems that the two lines i added to the falloutcustom.ini file make my game blackscreen rather then the old ENB.
Makes sense cause earlier i played with that same ENB for a year or more.

The lines i'm referring to are:

bUseCombinedObjects=1
bUsePreCreatedSCOL=1

So i figured it out.
Going to try and test the new ENB to see if it still destroys my performance, or if it was related to these ini tweaks.

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

Hello Boris.
Question: is it possible to add light sources like point- and fire lighting to enbseries for FO4? thanks in advance.

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

There are no particles for this, i can't see any, so it's too much minor feature.

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

Getting sucked back into Fallout 4 after a few years, and there's a slight issue with my preset and the Creation Kit. Causes the program to hang on start up.

Any chance of adding an IgnoreCK=true setting? Like IgnoreGeck for Fallout New Vegas' ENB.

It already check creationkit, ck.exe, fallout4launcher.exe and skip them. I don't know if creation kit have other name in f4

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

Ahh, right. That's strange then. The CK for FO4 is just called "CreationKit.exe". Guess I'll have to cope with renaming the .dll files for now then. Thanks anyhow.

Re: Fallout 4 0.428

Try this version with exact name which you said, report back results (and use it if it works). If didn't succeed, maybe you also have ReShade?
