Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.327

Thank you for the update, Boris!!

I was wondering if you had any more thoughts on the bug in the game where the character specular maps only work when facing north (indoor/outdoor light, same issue happens anywhere.) The character lighting has the same problem, seems like improper use of object space normals or something?

Anyway thank you again!

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.327

Boris

Still occurs ... in diferent positions in the sky, depending on camera or character movement.....
I only noticed this bug in Falkreath. The other places I check until now are fine......

EDIT: Checked again. The bug is occuring with Obsidian Weathers (and only sometimes). I tested with Vanilla Weathers + True Storms and with Dolomite Weathers and it did not occur .........

I can confirm that this happens to me too. Would be great to see a fix for this.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.327

Boris,
I tested here and that bug seems to be fixed. But I found another one: The rain feature is also affecting the snow flakes. The snow is falling as rain drops. I'm going to post screenshots in few minutes.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.327

Users who see fps loss when mod installed but not active (useeffectfalse) compared to not installed, check attached version, if it work without fps loss compared to official in downloads (use steam overlay fps counter).

EDIT: file deleted

Hello Boris, I can report that with this new file there doesn't seem to be fps loss when the ENB files are installed and UseEffect is set to false. With UseEffect=true it is buggy (screen is mostly black) but I assume that's because the file is for testing purposes. I tested it at the following location (this is a vanilla screenshot, ENB files not installed):
https://imgur.com/a/ctj7O

I'm using SKSE64 2.0.6 | SSE 1.5.23 | Latest Dev build v0.2 of Mod Organizer 2 v2.1.1 (2018-02-27) | Win7 64-bit | NVIDIA driver 391.01 | NVIDIA in-game overlay disabled. Can provide more info if needed.

I use a lot of mods, but didn't change anything in comparisons. I turned off all forms of vsync and limiters and used the steam overlay for fps measurement. I'm using the Natural View Tamriel (NVT) ENB preset with the v0.327 binaries and your posted file.

Vanilla uncapped, no ENB installed: ~62-64 fps

v.0327 binaries
NVT ENB 'Quality' preset (UseEffect=true): ~47 fps
NVT ENB 'Quality' preset (UseEffect=false): 53-55 fps

With test file
NVT ENB 'Quality' preset (UseEffect=true): ~51 fps (very buggy, screen is black, but probably doesn't matter bc it's a test file)
NVT ENB 'Quality' preset (UseEffect=false): 63-64 fps

So with the test file and UseEffect=false the fps seems the same as vanilla. Hope this helps :)
