Re: Fallout 4 0.317

I want to thank you again for the cloud shadow effect for Fallout 4, They add an amazing amount of realism - much more than I would have expected. So... thank you!! :D

Re: Fallout 4 0.317

Ayyy, the fog's finally fixed! Great work.

What was causing the fog to bug out at certain camera angles?

Re: Fallout 4 0.317

Its game video options dependent and internally problem was that fog for some shaders computed not after defer mix, but inside it.

Re: Fallout 4 0.317

Unfortunately, there are still fog shaders not being hooked. I tried the following weathers:

CommonwealthClear_VBFog - 002486A4
CommonwealthFoggy - 001C3473
CommonwealthFoggyBackup - 002392A2
CommonwealthGSFoggy - 001BD481
CommonwealthGSFoggyBackup - 002392A4
CommonwealthGSOvercast - 000F1033
CommonwealthMisty - 001CC186
CommonwealthMistyBackup - 002392A5
CommonwealthMistyRainy - 001CD096
CommonwealthMistyRainyBackup - 002115D7
CommonwealthOvercast_VBFog - 002486A5
CommonwealthSanctuaryClearNukeFog - 001A6994

And all of them drew the AO on top of the fog at certain camera angles.

Re: Fallout 4 0.317

I'll not fix that. You must use higher setting in game video options by activating checkboxes for wetness and other things there. Game have crazy amount of shaders which toggled for various combos of video setting and i have no time to patch all of them.

Fair enough. The reason why I don't have wetness enabled, is that it's bugged with AMD drivers; it causes the game to go all white like a bizarre depth buffer, when it's raining.

Edit: Turns out it's an issue caused by having iTexMipMapSkip set to anything other than 0, when the wetness materials are disabled. Workaround is to just disable all the rainy weathers.
