Yeah, really good news. Beside, Skyrim Special Edition loads textures way faster. And the best News (for me): They fixed the SLI problem with water, and reflections. Before reflections and water had some kind of flicker. this is gone now!

You got SLI working? Which profile or SLI dx10 bit? (there is no predefined profile yet).Neuba wrote:Yeah, really good news. Beside, Skyrim Special Edition loads textures way faster. Re: TES Skyrim 0.308
Does Enb use the specular maps of landscape textures in the normal map alpha section?
Because every landscape texture mod has those, but vanilla only with
cavebaseground01_n.dds
mineralpoolterrace_n.dds
glacierslab_n.dds
because those are also used in meshes.
Thank you

I don't remember now, sorry. Maybe somewhere in the changes log it's written or in the topic of the mod which have parallax for terrain implemented first time.

Parallax terrain uses the alpha map of the diffuse texture. I'm talking about the normal map _n.dds file with specular map though.ENBSeries wrote:I don't remember now, sorry. Bethesda implemented speculars with the SE Version, so it seems nearly all landscape texture mods did this wrong? (me including)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.308
I don't use alpha channel of another texture. So if "another" is normal map, then it's unused. Diffuse colors do contain values which looks like displacement (not specular), so i choosed them. If this changed in Skyrim SE, it means that they did mistake or swapped textures. I know very well how specular maps looks like, so i didn't mistake.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.308
I thought Windows 10 couldn't use more then 4GB of memory?
I was testing Skyrim before and I was using more then 5GB
See here
I have 8GB system ram and 6GB VRAM (Nvidia GTX Titan)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.308
Driver uses more memory than game, plus OS and other applications.
