Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.278

number6
When ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true and EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false, the duplicate of the VRAM texture data that is normally part of the FalloutNV.exe (or other game .exe) RAM size is instead diverted to enbhost.exe as needed. When ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true and EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true, there is only one instance of the texture data in VRAM.
Yes
Is the duplicate of VRAM textures in RAM a DX9 limit or is that still done in modern games?
dx9 specific thing, almost all games have this issue, thanks to M$.
Key assign works for me properly.

I just noticed that there is no sun curve control but there is one for moon curve. Can this be fixed?

For sure it's not because i forgot about it, but don't remember why not made it. Probably sun is always white.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.278

I see what you mean about the sun being white. Could a curve control the glare or is that better controlled in the enbsunsprite.fx shader? Is a procedural sun a possibility? Thanks

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.278

I don't see any point doing this, not the sun and not even mimicing the sun color changes by curve parameter. Implement just to have it - nonsense.

PS: probably i'll stop porting weather to fallout version, a lot of time got this process and still less than half way done, difference between skyrim and fallout versions are too big now to do such changes easily. And 99% skyrim presets do not use weather system, in several months nobody will be interested in old fallouts, so complex thing like weather system will not have any use.

I totally agree, when F4 will be out nobody will be interested in old ones. Don't waste your time on that.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.278

I'll be interested! I still haven't played more than a few hours of them. That said, I'll be playing to play them, not much modding, and current ENB presets are more than sufficient for that.

Boris, have you looked at the more recent ENB presets? It took awhile but the skyrim weather system did get picked up pretty well if even at limited levels (one for clear, cloudy, fog, etc.) Still, speaking from experience, setting up more for specific weathers can get very time consuming (I have ~38 in my preset currently. More coming when I get to it.)

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.278

That link is pretty great but the only reason that is discovered is because we have the necessary tools. I wonder what other wacky stuff exists in other AAA games.

Anyhow, is it possible to port UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics= and UseDefferedRendering= to FO3/FNV?
I've been poking around with TTW and figure it would be interesting to try out as I've never done it.
I'd be a nice addition to allow the usage of hardware antialiasing while still keeping the game stable.
Also the last two graphics drivers broke FO3 and FNV for me. I am using win 10 x64 with a 980ti

Thanks for the consideration.
