Re: TES Skyrim 0.305

While I was tweaking water some time ago I wished there would be some more options to control the color better because 99% of the look (color) depends on sky settings. So would be a color filter possible or more options for costume weather (like in the main enb series.ini)?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.305

There are several problems. First of all, not all water have same color (check Whiterun for that), so i'm not sure if apply single color filter will be good, it will be more like lighting instead of water color. Second, i do not modify some water types (mostly at the far distance) much or not at all, because they have very different values (Bethesda games have lot of objects tweaked to look about the same as others instead of using exactly same numbers). Third, water have several colors (for various deepness, etc) and some water do not have them, as i wrote above, so what you see and tweak for water near character will not look the same as same water at lower lod far from the camera. It's a too much complicated, simpler to make a mod in Creation Kit for water.

I guess I'm not understanding something. I cannot figure out how to download this. There doesn't seem to be a link to download from, either here or on the Download page. I can download patches and injectors and whatnot, but not the actual ENBSeries installer. Where the heck is it?

Go to the download page for 0.305 and scroll to the bottom of the page. There will be a small arrow pointing downward with the word "download." Click on that arrow to download the archive.

Haha! I saw this awhile ago! It's hilarious!

Sorry I haven't been around at all... Been playing Baldur's Gate games. Much better than a lot of what's been released in the last few years even if the graphics are 2D sprite based.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.305

@boris
if you had to choose SSAO settings AOType / AOMixingType / Samplingrange / etc... what would YOU choose (in current skyrim enb)? just asking for your personal "best preference" / best technical application.
i am very curious about that.
thanks

Re: TES Skyrim 0.305

Can't say for sure, don't remember now. Sampling range is 0.25-0.3 for me is optimal, but this depends from scene, sometime characters looks better with lower value. Unfortunately by performance reasons it's not possible to remove range parameter, so may be capturing several static screenshots with different range and blending them together will make perfect look for screen archers. AOType / AOMixingType don't remember. For interiors AOMixingType=2 better, but it's absolutely unreal.

What do you folks thinking about FF10 mod? Is it worth the time?
EDIT: thought i'm not sure about modding of it, may be half of the scenes are made from static screens. Who knows...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.305

That may be interesting. I played it (along with its sequel FFX-2) in the old PS2 times and there are very few precalculated environments. I remember about the total absence of shadows and almost no shaders at all.
