Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Hi Boris,
sorry to bother you again, but can you make original texture available in prepass.fx? like the one in effect.txt? or extra texture buffer like in the bloom.fx?
Thanks.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Well, i can. But it's different standart definition, so i need to thik 100 times before implementing any new feature to keep compatibility with older shaders/presets. Also one only type of changes isn't enough subjectively for new definition.

No rush, there are plenty of other things I would love to try in .fx. :P

Re: Geforce Experience, from the SKSE thread:
A recent nvidia driver update is including a broken version of the "Geforce Experience" component. This breaks the game if you are using both SKSE and a D3D shim (ENB, SweetFX) - a message will appear on startup complaining about not being able to find an imported function. I don't have an nvidia card, so I can't troubleshoot this, but uninstalling the Geforce Experience part fixes the problem. Please report this issue to nvidia so they can fix it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Boris or anyone,

I was running around in the rain at night and noticed massive flickering of the clouds in the distance to a dark black.

then they would go back to normal..

This is happening on 264 but when I downgrade to 254 it fixes this issue. So for me 264 is messed up on the clouds at night in the rain. Just passing this along, not sure if it is a known issue. I'm on Nvidia with 344.11 no gforce experience installed...

Maybe this would help you, but I'm not sure if it's really z-fighting. There's no perfect fix for that.

If you're talking about the mist/fog patches that hover about the tops and sides of mountains, that is actually controlled by "volumetric fog" parameters in ENB - not clouds. If you'll look at the release notes of 0.264 you'll see that Boris implemented a temporary fix for transparency issues caused by mist. The volumetric fog in your screenshots seems to be affected by mist, so this may be related to the changes that were made.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Disable mist and if issue will go away, it's current problem of the mist.
