Re: Nvidia GTX Titan was announced today!!
So my local IT dude said there are 2 Titans available from his supplier, but they are overcharging and want $1400 (AU) for them, which means I'd have to sell my current 680 before I can get the titan, or wait a month or so (and by then they may be gone) decisions decisions
EDIT: Was looking on Ebay to see if anyone is selling a Titan and there are heaps of them on ebay already, what the...

Anyone have one yet?
How good is that site Far? Everywhere I look they are sold out, or priced 25-90% above MSRP.

That site worked like a charm for me. I had it send me text message updates. But you have to be really quick once you get an update that they are in stock as they go FAST!chan wrote:Anyone have one yet?

As for my 2 Titans, I couldn't be happier! 60 plus FPS with ENB @1920x1080 and 8x supersampling AA. downsampling at 3840x2160 usually gets me about 30 -35 FPS.

What make/model did you go with, far?
I was wanting the Asus, but I think the EVGA versions will be easier to come by.
What temps do you see, and what clocks are you running?

I just run the default clock speeds. Not sure what those are off the top of my head.chan wrote:What make/model did you go with, far?

I am using a tweaked bios though. You'll probably want to flash to a tweaked bios as well. The default bios suffers from throttling.
I have 2 EVGA superclocked versions...

temps? I'll have to get back to you, but these cards actually run cooler than any other cards I've owned. like 25c when idle. I don't think I've seen them above 65c during load.
