Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

Hi there!

I just "upgraded" to your new Unreal Cinema - ENB - v1-7 - Standalone for ENB 0.146.
But i feel its not looking right, at least on my PC. Indoors Bloom Effect seems to produce Foggy-Looking Result (See Screenshots)

With your ENB Preset aktivated:

ENB deaktivated:

Deaktivating Bloom-Effekt reduces this, but not completely. Ingame Gamma is allready set to nearly 0, with Gamma 1 (Default) this Effect gets even stronger.
Is this how it should look like? Is it a problem on my PC?

I like you Preset very much, would be just more pleased if it would look less "foggy" Indoors :D

P.S. Setting Values for // ENB Bloom Interior settings as follows reduces that Effect:
float fBloomIntensityMultInterior = 0.8; //1.0 // Controls brightness of bloom. Higher values are brighter.
float fBloomIntensityMaxInterior = 4.0; // 10.0 // Controls brightness maximum of bloom.

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

I would venture a guess that it is the film grain most likely. The noise it generates will create the illusion of higher gamma.

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

The configuration has since been reverted back to a version of v1.6. Please use that setup instead.

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

I just loaded the newest Version a few minutes ago. Its better now regarding the "foggy" look.
But i think there is a Problem with Interior Night / Day Factor. Going into an Interior at Daytime seem to slowly fade to Nighttime settings then.
You can check it by going into the sleeping giant inn at daytime and wait a few seconds ...

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

Hi Unreal Warfare!

There still is a Problem with the Interiors and Day- Night Factor. I think Interiors use Nighttime-Settings from enbeffect.fx at Daytime and at Night the Daytime Settings. For Example going into Dragonsreach at Daytime its very Dark inside, and when it gets Night its more bright inside. Outdoors everything is ok ...

... is it only me having this Problem?

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

What binary and version are you using? Also what lighting mods are you using?

Dragonsreach should hardly have any differences because night and day interior values are exactly the same. I will double check when I have gotten Skyrim fully reinstalled.

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

I m using ENB 0.146.
I ve ELFX installed. But not RLO. But I cant imagine that this is a Problem, but who knows ;)

I checked DetectorOldVersion under [NIGHTDAY] now and that seems to solve the problem.

You dont use different Brightness in enbeffect.fx for Day and Night in Interior? I thought you would do so :)

Re: Unreal Cinema - ENB

No because it affects dungeons aswell. Also some parameters will change the setting for both day and night regardless of which setting you use.

It's possible, considering your solution, it's simply the wrong colour tweaks setting in enbeffect.fx (there's two dependant on binary used).
