Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

@insomnia_jt:

Pal version runs on 30FPS, you can't play a 60, it's too speed, desynch etc etc

auto framerate can solve the problem but crash like blackscreen can occur (on event, cutscene: FPS speed to high then.. crash).

To solve problem: reight click property on wind wake under dolphin select patch then enable item hang. this fix many error

BUT

you need to configure sound With LLE sound (work fine to but high pc recquire)

@evok99:

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Wow, awesome work kali!!

I have been in love with Zelda games ever since I got my first nes in 86 but because my last console was an N64 I have not played Wind Walker. I didn't realize emulation was up to date with the gamecube. I know what I am doing when I get home tonight :)

Also, this might seem like a stupid question, but sometimes I am so.. Anyway, even though I have a 64 bit system, will I be able to run the 32 bit version of Dolphin??

Up to date with the Wii :D You can literally emulate Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword at 60 FPS with 4x rendering if you have a strong PC. Even supports 3D vision if you have the hardware to run it. :)

Ah yes, I thought that was a Wii game. Looks good enough render high res to be a Wii U game. lol!

Anyways, Dolphin does play wii games. I have over 75 of them and most run perfectly. :)

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Uploaded a few new pics to the first post...

Did a tiny bit more tweaking and make everything a little darker, the clouds are getting blown out, and everything is perhaps still a bit too bright. But bloom is working off of the bright stuff, and if I make thing even darker, I will loose the bloom too much... I hope to find a good compromise at some point :) So I would still consider this a work in progress.

And here's a comparison shot, I will try and remember to take more comparison shots :)

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Looks like the official remake shots (example). I'm not really a fan of this game having tons of bloom but nice work regardless.
